Annie Girl Doll, Billie

Billie flaunts her bronze curls while clothed in a soft beige and ivory pattered dress which is accented with a tawny colored shawl and head turban. Her outfit is adorned with a  gold beaded choker necklace and a shell brooch. She carries a basket of ivory berries, amber grasses and straw. Measures 14 inches tall.

Michele Sapp is the artist who creates these wonderful dolls called, "Annie's Girls". Michele's Grandmother, Annie, was a very independent, proud and spirited African-American woman who never forgot her humble beginnings. She was blessed with a loving family, wealth of talent and the amazing gift of "creating something from nothing". She saw beauty in the most common of objects. These One-Of-A-Kind Dolls are a tribute to her unique gifts and vision. It is Michele's hope that they embody the regal beauty and enduring spirit of not only her grandmother, but that of all women as well.
