Jan Von Ins builds each house out of beach stones and pine cones she collects on the Lake Michigan shore near her home in Saugatuck, Michigan. Each birdhouse is then treated with polyurethane for a soft sheen. Jan's houses are works of art suitable for display on a mantlepiece or bookshelf.
