Simone wears a geometric designed dress, shawl and turban of soft taupe and ivory  dots and lines on a black background. Her dress is accessorized with a pale coral beaded neck choker and earrings of beads and shells. Her dress and shawl are accented with sea shells. She carries a ivory feather fan with beaded embroidery strands. Simone is displayed on a matching stand. Measures 21 inches tall.

Michele Sapp is the artist who creates these wonderful dolls called, "Annie's Girls". Michele's Grandmother, Annie, was a very independent, proud and spirited African-American woman who never forgot her humble beginnings. She was blessed with a loving family, wealth of talent and the amazing gift of "creating something from nothing". She saw beauty in the most common of objects. These One-Of-A-Kind Dolls are a tribute to her unique gifts and vision. It is Michele's hope that they embody the regal beauty and enduring spirit of not only her grandmother, but that of all women as well.
