Annie Girl Doll, Angel

Angel is clothed in a purple and lavender batik dress and turban. She carries a purple gauze shawl. Her outfit is complimented with a purple beaded choker necklace and a  shell broach. She carries a basket of blueberries and pink wildflowers. Measures 14 inches tall.

Michele Sapp is the artist who creates these wonderful dolls called, "Annie's Girls". Michele's Grandmother, Annie, was a very independent, proud and spirited African-American woman who never forgot her humble beginnings. She was blessed with a loving family, wealth of talent and the amazing gift of "creating something from nothing". She saw beauty in the most common of objects. These One-Of-A-Kind Dolls are a tribute to her unique gifts and vision. It is Michele's hope that they embody the regal beauty and enduring spirit of not only her grandmother, but that of all women as well.
