Wrap, Nuno Felted on Silk

Nuno Felted Wrap by M'Aryal is beautifully handcrafted  by Mary Alice Townsend. Nuno,  the Japanese word for cloth, is created when natural wool fibers are fused onto sheer silk. The colored wool and sheer silk are fused together with soap, water, agitation and patience. This results in a dramatic felted fabric which is then hand sewn and accent beaded to create a one-of-a-kind wrap.
